QUATUOR BOZZINI
CASSANDRA MILLER · SARAH DAVACHI · ÉLIANE RADIGUE
French premiere
Concert 20:30
1h40, including interval
Tickets €8–25 / Subscribers €8–20
This programme brings together three works shaped by simplicity, oral transmission and suspended time, united by their composers’ close relationship with the Quatuor Bozzini.
In Three Songs, Cassandra Miller draws on songs remembered by the quartet’s members, including ‘À la claire fontaine’ and ‘Bella ciao’, transforming them into a meditation on tenderness, memory and consolation. The third movement of Sarah Davachi’s four-part work for quartet is performed in France for the first time. Éliane Radigue’s music unfolds through sustained tones and subtle pulsations, in a duration attuned to the space, the present moment and the musicians’ collective listening.
In collaboration with Festival d’Automne à Paris.
